haha exactly. if i were in the market for a 5/32" syn. handled duke for woods use this would be a cool knife although IMO the duke was just meant to be made in 3/16".

Hmmm, Maybe that's the secret proprietary spalting method. Lay some bacon on the steel until it starts to etch.

Have a bit of a bacon patina on my Hunter... Just the normal grey/blue hue. Think I'll have to leave it longer

We'll have a couple in coming weeks.

Maybe Shadetree can stabilize some bacon?? Then we'd have survival rations too.
