Thanks Duder. I think so too, I've thought so since I saw the model release a while back. I think I like the narrower blade of the Asp over the wider blade of the SP. After having difficulty photographing the stainless combined with the maroon micarta, I have been wanting one in a nice wood, and tapered tang 5/32 for a particular project I have in mind, so I have been patiently waiting and watching. When I saw these two I thought to myself that either would perfect but really liked the ironwood best. Man that handle, that blade, and that grind are just perfect for what I want. But the thread had been up a bit, and I was just sure I had missed the chance. I think maybe it was a case of just being meant to be that the ironwood one was still available. I can't wait to get it in the woods
