I'm with ya. My resolve crumbled on the Longfellow in under 15 minutes, and now I have to stare at that Monarch, on July 4th weekend no less... Someone do my wallet a solid here!

That's an awesome score! The Longfellow is a really cool, and not often seen, pattern.
I'm sitting here really trying to resist the pull of that Monarch.

Lol, damn this sucks. I have wanted a cord wrapped one since they started. The Bear Cub would be perfect, and it's still sitting there...but I can't even scrape up the $150...

What are the specs on the Monarch?
OAL, blade length, handle length?
Would you say the handle is "beefy" or svelte, on this particular Monarch?
I'm leaning...
