Gusbuster and Bamboo, how can you tell O1 from A2 visually? Something about the spalting??

Yeah you could usually tell by the spalting. A2 is usually darker and more defined with nice patterns.

Yes, it is all about the spalting. However sometimes it can be tough to tell. Generally the A2 spalts much deeper, but sometimes the 01 comes out quite deep too - that's when it gets a little tough to tell.

Ken is the Osage Ladyfinger is 5/32"? I was hoping for 1/8".

It is 5/32". Sorry about that. The other Ladyfinger is 1/8", SFT.

In other news, we moved a fair amount of stuff to the new shop this afternoon. It is coming along well and all that's left at the old shop are the necessary tools to keep making knives. Kind of fun to boil it down to the basics. The Guild meeting is this coming weekend, being held at the new shop. Not sure if we'll get the business license by then but if we do there'll probably be a mad haul of equipment the day before or of...
