The Esquire is 3/8". Still interested? (it's 5/32", and w/ the high grind and tapered tang it feels like 1/8")

I just got here - can someone please explain what is meant by "preview format"? Thanks!

Before today, at the set time (normally 3:00PM ET), a thread would pop up with all the knives listed and it was the first opportunity for folks to see the specs of the knives. We had access to the pictures on Fotki (see the sticky threads for details) but there were lots of questions about steel type and thickness because of not knowing the specs. This lead to people claiming a knife in the first few seconds flurry of activity, and then backing out when they took time to read the specs.

Today Bamboo posted the thread in read-only mode 15 minutes or so before it went live so everyone could see the details.

I think it went pretty smooth!

Thanks for the question. We posted the thread around 2:45 but it was locked. This way everybody got a chance to look at the knives offered. Then we unlocked the thread at 3pm allowing folks to post for the knives.
