As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
Big week here at Fiddleback Forge. The Fiddleback Family has grown this week by one member. I have hired my friend Ken Craggs, known on the forums as Bamboo. Ken and I have been hanging out and attending Blade Show since 07, at first as spectators, and eventually with me having a table and Ken having all the fun. Ken is a furnituremaker, and was an instructor at the North Benett School in Boston. He will more than double the talent in the shop. I have also hired Adam, my apprentice to work here. After some shuffling, that leaves the three of us and Morgan. We are creating manufacturing jobs right here in GA, and you are the reason!!! Thank You!
Even though we are growing, please be sure that every knife that has my initials has been hand ground by me. Also, the handle shapes are mine alone. Honestly, right now I have my hands in every process. But I wanted y’all to know that I’m not marking knives with my name that aren’t made by me.
Thank you all for the support. My family depends on y’all.
The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with Rick Lowe and Heber Ellsworth for my sheaths. The make beautiful sheaths that really compliment my work. I appreciate your support for them as well.
The steel this week is 3D Spalted 01 steel and one knife made from CPM 154CM.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.
Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments at att dot net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.
Shipping is included within the US. We do all our shipping on Thursdays.

The Nessmuk is back! The recent thread about HI and ole Sarge got my juices flowing for a more traditional Nessmuk. So I broke out the old beat up pattern to get the dimensions, and came up with this knife. You could likely have guessed its measurements, which come in at 4” long blade, and a 4.5” long handle. I have one Cocobolo one that is 5/32” thick, the other two are nice thin 1/8” thick knives.

Three Excellent Woodchucks I'm very partial to this design now. I'm hoping some bushcrafter does a review and gets it some exposure. It has a work-me-hard feeling when you pick it up.
