Nice double tap score Hone....Congrats !

Thanks... I originally had my mind set on just the Camp Nessie, but when I saw that purdy Monarch I had to go for it. Both have ruby burlap handles and tapered tangs :D

Well Ho lee sh!#, what a time to be investing in a new company and handing over all of what money I have left to an oral surgeon and a pharmacist! Finally, a 5/32 Raptor I could actually get to! Then an Esquire I'd near trade a testicle for (yes I know you guys wouldn't want it, just sayin'), and son of a bi...a tapered 5/32 Bear Paw too?! The ONLY saving grace is the Bushboot doesn't have a blue handle or I'd just be doing something I really shouldn't do...

Crap! Darn it Ken, I wish you would wait till I actually have money to tease people with the Curly Qs. That way when they decide to hold off and wait, I could actually take advantage of it :) Now I am going to spend too much time trying to make my finances more than they are this week!

Holy shit! That's sweet!! I had scrolled by that three or four times and didn't even notice!! I have been wanting to play with one of the smaller models in the 3/16 for months since he started doing more of them. This is friggin' awesme!!

Well I guess if nobody wants it, I'll take the Blue Oak EDC II

Oh thank you sir! It isn't the model I need, but it's blue...and my wife has been on my @$$ to replace her Bushboot I had to sell last winter for heating fuel with a blue Bushboot for almost eleven months. It's really not quite pointy enough for her uses, but it is gorgeous, and it is blue, so I have spent the last two days trying to figure out how to go about making that mistake with the limited funds I have. If that Lonestar was blue my head would likely be a knotted from beating it on my desk trying to come up with a way to do it, and if the Bushboot was blue I'd likely be in some sort of trouble already :) The sad part is that the Bushboot is the perfect color scheme for me, and I love edc-ing a Bushboot in an urban environment...but hey, I have miles of woods to hide in and a 3/16 tapered Kephart to test out, so yeah I'm like totally good at the moment :)

I'm glad I could be of assistance. I was surprised nobody picked it up! This time of year...the funds begin to get tight for everyone. It's important to keep the "better half" happy. Bushboot is on my list as well...

I am too, there are a few here I am surprised are still sitting around. The 5/32 Esquire and Raptor particularly. He doesn't make many of those. I wish I had the funds, I'd snag them both. But yeah, this time of year our thoughts turn to others, for whom knives might not be as special as they are to us. But man, if I could afford it, these would make Christmas gifts for some special friends, ones that wouldn't be soon forgotten....

Been hemming and hawing over that Big Paw all weekend. Save me from the doghouse and buy that thing so I can stop the nail biting.

If only. I have been wanting one of those since he started making them. My oral surgeon is taking care of any and all "extra" money I have for the moment...

Go for it. I almost bought it as a duplicate for my existing one. Best looking one I've seen.

The grind on that one looks perfect! And it's tapered 5/32! AND than Emerald Shade Tree is awesome! BUT, oral surgery once a week with no dental insurance isn't leaving me any money to play with...

One could argue that you don't really need teeth when you got a knife like that though..

Oh yeah, I agree, I could mince things up very nicely :) It's just that damn, those oral surgeons are spensive! I clearly went to the wrong school lol

That one has very little guard below the edge, it would handle all my bushcraft AND food prep needs :)
