Thanks for the reminder. I was winter backpacking in the Porcupine Mountains (UP) and lost track of this thread. I assumed that Recluse was spoken for. I have a camel thorn Bushfinger and it’s an amazing looking wood!

No problem, yes it really is gorgeous stuff! I need it on one of the smaller models for a photo project I'm working on. Never made it to the UP when I lived up in Michigan, but when I do I'm pretty sure it won't be in autumn or winter :D
