Well, I speak for everyone here, the bushnub would have certainly looked better in one of your photo shoots than anything I could do
Assuming that my call is good, this will be my first bushnub, and as someone who loves the bushfinger but prefers a guard and was looking for a smaller belt knife for light carry this fall/winter, I think I will enjoy this one.

Thanks man. It's ok, I don't yet have the Bushnub model itself slated yet anyway, I just know I want some ironwood in this project somewhere. From your description, I think you will like it. That's pretty much the impression I've gotten from handling them. Nice model fr edc or day hiking stuff. Pretty sure your call is good man.

I think, all things considered, I'm more surprised that the bog oak Bushcrafter is still around than any other. But damn that Protagonist is really sweet looking!

Same here...I just ordered a leather pack, put in an order for some custom stoneware mugs, I'm in discussions with a local seamstress about making a grey cloak or two, and I picked up a few other odds and ends for the project. This weekend will be fun
But All the ones I currently have are either grails or are involved in the project. So the Protagonist will just have to wait a while.
