2014 1121 13 – Kephart with Eucalyptus burl over black g10 with yellow pinstripes, SFT Tang, heavy knife, convex on 5/32” spalted 01 steel - $290

Nice choice man, I couldn't believe it was still available when I saw Ken's leftover list. That is an absolutely gorgeous knife that is hard to do justice with in photos. The Eucalyptus burl wood is beautiful. I had a similar Kephart, but of thinner steel that was a catch and release to me because of the thinness. When I saw and handled that one, mt brain went into overdrive trying to find a way to rearrange my finances to swing it...but since I had just picked up the tapered 3/16 Kephart I let it go pretty quick. Seeing that many Fiddlebacks at once is an overload You chose a beautiful knife that was hard to capture in photos.

I cant believe this is still up. I'll take it .. new one for my EDC rotation.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. I have been given the chance to buy Lisa's Bushboot that I had to sell back last winter back, so I have been focused on funds for it, but damn if this HB was still there this morning a couple of my rare pieces were about to get sold for standing offers to fund both purchaes. That HB is the same handle config as my KEB, and the tang type I wish my KEB was.

Pretty sure that one is already gone. Cimarron56 claimed it yesterday. I think the only left is the Bocote Patch Knife and Fubar Woodsman, but Ken will need to confirm that.

Oh, man how I know that feeling. I have watched several slip by me. But, that sure does enhance the high of scoring one you want when you finally score it

I really couldn't believe it was still available either and i debated over it for maybe 30-45 minutes. Especially considering I was able to snag my very first FB last week on the forums. Over a year of looking at various vendors/forums for something that really suits me (ones that i really liked were consistently sold before I could get to them) and 2 in a week haha. Thanks to the FB crew for making such amazing knives. The HB feels just awesome in my hand and the craftsmanship is top notch. Can't wait to see the Eucalyptus Kephart in person. Thanks again Andy and crew!

While picking up my HB from today from this batch - I noticed the Patch Knife from this batch didnt sell .. crazy cause this thing is badass!!
It's thick, but tapered. And, the combo of a smaller knife + Tapered Tang 5/32" seriously feels GREAT in hand .. at least it does it my hand.

So .. thought I'd share a bird's eye view of the spine!
