As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
Well, its time again for Fiddleback Friday! I am glad that y’all are here to see this week’s work. And I am proud to say Happy Veteran's Day to you all. I hope you will be able to honor our vets on Monday.
And introducing a new finish on the flats of the SS knives that I am calling Fiddleback Textured Flats. I think it makes them look a lot more my style. I’ve been working on this for a while, and I hope you like it.
Even though we are growing, please be sure that every knife that has my initials has been hand ground by me. Also, the handle shapes are mine alone. Honestly, right now I have my hands in every process. But I wanted y’all to know that I’m not marking knives with my name that aren’t made by me.
We have upgraded our marking ability and the mark is now etched deeply in the steel.
The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with Rick Lowe and Heber Ellsworth for my sheaths. The make beautiful sheaths that really compliment my work. I appreciate your support for them as well.
The steel this week is 3D Spalted 01 steel and CPM 154CM with Fiddltextured Flats.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.

Shipping is included within the US. Ken has taken over the shipping department and he got the packages out on Tuesday this week. He is also doing the packing and wrapping, which had been getting done by a part time helper. I think the packages this week were as good as when I used to do them myself or even better maybe. There is going to be a special e-mail address for all questions or concerns regarding shipping. I’ll give that out next week. Small Knives first again this week. I don’t know about y’all, but I am really loving these EDCII’s. I made myself one (a dud of course, pinout was ugly as snot) a few weeks back, and it’s a really good utility knife.

Bushfingers – Man I have 4 sweet Bushfingers this week. Two are shown with the SS pic though. Not to fret, that set is next. These two are spectacular. I’m dying to keep the Bocote knife. It weighs nothing.

Stainless Steel with Fiddltexturing. I am so now getting into the SS knives now that I can make them look so much more Fiddleback-ish. Two Bushfingers and a thin bladed Woodchuck with no guard! Of course, I put the 4th ss knife with the small knives as you have noticed.

Woodsman, and a Camp Knife. We had a visit from the g10 cutoff guy as you can see. I am a big fan of the cornflower blue g10. This Woodsman is special IMO. Not materials wise, but as a tool, this is a nice one, and the 3D Spalted steel is maybe the best in a year to my eye.
