Outstanding batch this week. AGAIN! See, this is exactly what I was afraid of: the horrors of temptation, still very much there even after weeks of inactivity, blade-buyin' wise. Ugh...

Only one thing to do: go outside and mame some leftover wood with a hiking buddy. Yeah, that's it, good plan for the weekend!

But seriously, Mr. Roy & Co, I like the direction you're moving in and I agree: the fiddletexturing does make the SS-knives look more fiddlebackish. Very tempting too (here we go again...)!

Well damn, a few in this batch I'd nearly trade body parts for. That clipped Bushboot is something else. I get that it is more of an accomplishment to make that happen in 1/8" stock, but I'd love one in 5/32! That textured emerald Bushfinger looks awesome, the maple burl Sneaky Pete looks great, and damn I like that Woodsman.

Unfortunately Andy I've had a to let too many go over the years to be able to buy new. Having 2 girls in college has really cramped my buying power. I have experienced more "seller's remorse" than I care to say.

Thanks for the guardless Woodchucks! Boy, they look like a totally different knife with that little bit of metal gone! It's amazing! I can't wait to get them, they are going to be fun in the kitchen! I wanted the guardless Duke, but the super thin bacote Sneaky Pete was more than I could resist.

Wow Andy - what a gorgeous batch. Claire's shooting sport is taking a lot of the budget these days so stopping by on Friday's is simply painful as there isn't much budget left for your knives. I did have a question though about this knife:

Knives are shipping today from last Friday's thread. Generally, I try to get things out the door and into the Post Office on Tuesday afternoons. Sorry for the delay this time.

I have not received either Woodchuck as of yet. I am excited to get my hands on one!

Yes, you should have those soon, I would think by today. If not let me know and I'll find out where it is. That was a big box of knives we shipped out to you last week.

There is also a mini woodchuck in the works this week and I'm excited to see how it turns out. Andy ground it out on the fly and I think it might be a great new design.
