Vance,
What is the blade length and OAL on the Appalachian blade?
Im not sure

the Apprentices emailed the specs and pics of their knives and that wasn't included
Appalachian Appalachian will hopefully respond. Sorry about that.

Agreed! I love my 3/32 CPM F2!

Would love to see the Katalox in person, the coloration is hard to make out but the description on Wood Database is interesting. Sounds like a very hard and durable wood, just the ticket on a Duke.

Thanks Vance and Appalachian for the responses. Love the knife, but wishing the blade length was more like 4.5" +. Though I am still thinking about it.

Optimally thin for the 3" to 3.6" EDC range. Like a Lil Lady, Esquire, Handyman, etc.

Just my opinion but given the intended wet use for an F2, they should never be anything but thin and stainless.

What time does Fiddleback Friday post go up?
i will post the thread w/ "Preview" in the title once I complete it. I will immediately lock it down. This will allow everyone an ample chance to read the specs & descriptions. At 3pm Eastern I will unlock the existing thread and it will then be live. The sharking can then commence.
hope that helps

VANCE VANCE usually creates a thread around 1:30 to 2:00 pm on the Fiddleback forum ( unless there is a snow emergency :D) then unlocks at 3 pm. All EST time zone. Then the sharks attack!! Hope that helps.

Thanks Vance! I grabbed Kyle's knife last week and am hoping something catches my eye today.
