I love a nice sheepsfoot style blade.

Well now y'all have gone and done it! Nobody snagged that Curly Oak Kephart , so I guess I'm going to have to step up and make it mine.

Thank you, cimarron! I was close to sharking it too... The rays in the oak are really magnificent in person. The forge crew will confirm it for you, but I went ahead and removed it from my post as well.

I'm off work the next two Fridays so I should be able to snag something. I can't wait! I would have loved that Scandi Bushfinger. Holy crap that knife is beautiful.

Guys, if you don't already have a Bushraptor, that black herringbone is a steal. The BR is a fantastic profile. I truly think its one of Andy's best.

It is the perfect size and has great utility for and EDC, a hiking knife or a kitchen slicer. I have 3, one is in evergreen burlap and two are natural canvas. Two of those will be going to very close friends as unexpected Christmas presents. Now I have to decide which goes where!

I think so too. I was hesitatnt to try to talk Andy into doing that one since he already made two models from the Hiking Buddy, but it was a trick of the sunlight on a Hiking Buddy I was using overhead that gave me the idea, and it would let me be. I immediately came in from the field and drew it out using the Hiking Buddy I had and sent it to Andy suggesting he do his own interpretation of it since I thought it would make a great utilitarian tool. I actually had one of the first two, but while I loved it in the kitchen, I learned it wasn't a model I wanted with a full height grind and thinly tapered tang. I am holding out for a tapered or maybe even SFT 5/32 one, but I have to admit, with it being SFT and a 3/4 grind, if that Black Herringbone one had blue liners that matched my Kephart, I might just be in trouble
 
Man, I keep going through the knives here this week, and all of the burls are amazing. Particularly those green box elder ones. But as usual, some real stunners all through this batch!
 
You guys are killing me. I've been bouncing back and forth contemplating between that Herringbone Raptor to make a nice pair with the Raptor I sharked earlier, or that BushBoot to start a nice Tuxedo set.

I know that feeling too...I have a "thing" for Bushboots...

If I hadn't been looking for a Ladyfinger for so long, I'd have snatched that tux Bushboot. Love a mosaic pin dressing up the tux!
