Thanks Kirkwood. i did find some other FFriday pics of brown canvas where it really appears as brown. Must have been some different lighting this time that made it appear so green. I would like that more green appearance....sorry for munging the sales thread by the way

I just wanted to say how excited I am to get this Sgian Dubh. I have actually tried to have one made several times, with no success.

This take on it keeps the spirit, but adds that Fiddleback touch.

Man I was excited to have enough time in a Friday afternoon to get online. I was 30 mins late, but still fun! Cool new profiles!!!!! I can't wait to see the new Woodpecker in hand and contrast her with your original profile. This one looks to be a SUPER carver!

Hi Will. I finally decided to just re-design the Woodpecker rather than refuse to make it. Seems like the common sense thing to do from hindsight. Took me forever to figure it out though.

Here ya go. Not the best pic. I feel like the difference is even clearer in person. I'll try to get a pic in outdoor light this afternoon.

Don't mind the discussion at all. Love all the pics. Its funny, but Tom nailed it. Its really nothing close to OD in person. Really distinctive pretty micarta.

I have tried for years to design one that I like. Literally several drawings over the years and all just trash. I like this one too.

I really like the Bullfrog Bowie design, I'm a sucker for clipped points. Can't wait to try it. Looks like the handle is of the new style.
