How Fiddleback Friday Works

The rules are quite simple. Once the knives post, the first person to the checkout process gets the knife. There are no limits to how many you can buy. However, it may take you longer to put 3 knives in your cart than it takes 3 other people to checkout with only 1 knife. Unsold knives will stay here until Thursday of the following week. They will still be on the site listed with other https://fiddlebackforge.com/collections/handmade

Shipping

Our checkout accepts both PayPal or credit cards. In the USA, we are currently offering the options of USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, or UPS options. International order are currently UPS only. Rate depends on country and are calculated at checkout. Taxes and Customs Fees are subject to your countries laws and will be collected from you upon delivery, if required. We ship next business day after purchase. We ship Monday-Friday unless there's a national holiday or something unforeseen occurs.

Duckhead!!! Some new action going on here!! Steller knife selection. The Handyman *CPM154 , Delta Scout, Dakota (haven't seen one of these for a few years at least) and Mamba tugging at my heart!! All of them really! Great work!

Duck head! Love the scales! Perfect combination! Great steel AEB-L for kitchen knives.
Love the chili pepper micarta on the Warlander Forester.
The Mamba is my pick for, First to go this week. TT, crosscut black micarta, sweet contrast with orange pins and pinstripe! It’s got, “All the Right Moves”!!!

Thank y'all for all your support, and especially for welcoming Dusty to the Fiddleback Friday experience. Dusty started at Pops as a clerk and apprentice in the last few months and has since been promoted to team leader at Pops. His knives have come up too. He has a really good eye for combinations. The knives are improving very quickly. I expect great things from Dusty.

7/64" Andy??? That's too much math this morning before coffee
😄

What an awesome batch though!
Here's a fun fact from behind the scenes...

Many of the steels like CPM 154, M4, AEB-L come in decimal measurements... and some aren't "true" thickness because of mill scale, etc. We like to keep the fraction in most cases to be consistent. We have digital calipers here, so unless the maker specifically tells us the decimal, like Joey did on the M4, we take an actual caliper measurement that has a fractional readout. So when you see 7/64" etc. That's the actual measured thickness with digital calipers. If you see a decimal, that's factory spec from the steel bar before it's made into a blade.

Hello Duckhead Forge! I don't think I've seen a harpoon point on a kitchen knife- great start to introduce your work with.

Nice to see the stainless Fiddlebacks - not always, but sometimes I don't mind the rust resistant stuff. A rust resident Handyman...UltraHandyMan? that things sweet.

Another outstanding release of work to gaze on - thanks to all the makers!

High Resolution is still processing as I type this... definitely worth the wait to see it 4K (or at least HD) instead of the 360p version it's showing at the moment. Well, except for my face. Unfortunately for you, that's in 4K/HD as well. Sorry 🤣

I personally can't wait to see what else Dusty (Duckhead Forge) comes up with in the future. That kitchen combo is an absolute DEAL! I think the harpoon tip on those is for when someone talks trash about your cooking skills ... it makes the knife harder for them to remove from their body, so they learn their lesson not to talk trash and just eat! 😇
