How Fiddleback Friday Works

The rules are quite simple. Once the knives post, the first person to the checkout process gets the knife. There are no limits to how many you can buy. However, it may take you longer to put 3 knives in your cart than it takes 3 other people to checkout with only 1 knife. Unsold knives will stay here until Thursday of the following week. They will still be on the site listed with other https://fiddlebackforge.com/collections/handmade

Shipping

Our checkout accepts both PayPal or credit cards. In the USA, we are currently offering the options of USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail Express, or UPS options. International order are currently UPS only. Rate depends on country and are calculated at checkout. Taxes and Customs Fees are subject to your countries laws and will be collected from you upon delivery, if required. We ship next business day after purchase. We ship Monday-Friday unless there's a national holiday or something unforeseen occurs.

That black canvas Nomad is a “Sleeper” for under $300. With 01 steel It’s destined for daily use! It’s absolutely one of my favorite designs! Pretty much the perfect user!
I broke out my personal Nomad for a little camera action on the video this week. It's such a fantastic knife. I don't have even one nitpick about the design or execution... it's perfect.

Question--Is the Thorne a renaming of the 2 Finger Karda? The dimensions are identical and the pictures looks like the one I have.

In all seriousness... maybe. 🤷‍♂️

Andy told us he didn't have a name for it, and we didn't recognize it as one we'd had in the last 6 years. So, I'm honestly not sure if it was an old pattern he dug out that he just couldn't remember the name, but we assumed it was new model since I didn't know what it was and how Andy phrased his answer when we asked him. In the last several years, Andy has made several new models and they usually come to us as and un-named model. Usually Allison & I would come up with something, unless Phillip did. So, we just assumed this was one of those cases. Especially since it came with the Pocket Ninja (Phillip named that one) and the blades look similar. The only database of Fiddleback models is the one we created for the site, but that also means it only has models that we've had before in our hands here. If it was a one-off that was sold elsewhere or was discontinued 6+ years ago, it's not on the site.

We've actually named several models from JB Knifeworks, Cohutta, WA Surls, etc. over the years. For the "Thorne", we put it out on Instagram Reels as many of you have seen... and then gave the honor to the new guy here (Tyler) to pick the one he thought was best. Very scientific. 😂

I am putting another Instagram Reel up today (as well as the longer video). You'll see in the video that it is a 3 finger handle. But it seems like there used to be a 3 Finger Karda too... but that one may have adopted another name at some point.
