Fiddleback Friday 4/4/14

Man, I just glanced through the post earlier, right after it was posted, but then had to leave. Damn what a batch this week! That Hiking Buddy Ken did is just amazing, as is the Bishop. Love the black locust Asp too. Damn, every week just keep surpassing the week before.

That Kephart is a superb knife -- absolutely stunning; I certainly hope that we will be seeing more bog oak (maybe on 01) in the near future :).

Right now we have enough for 2 more knives but we'll try and get some more. It comes with a certificate in Russian (?) saying that it's approx 6,000 years old.

Andy, Ken, since I was lucky enough to snatch 2 knives this Friday - Is the $40 for shipping international still valid for both knives, or do I have to go 2x40=$80 for the shipping.
Want to know so that I can get the paypal moving.

As Andy said, just a flat $40.

... I'm contemplating selling my GSO 10 and some Spyderco folders as I just bought an engagement ring....).

Congratulations Cman!

We are pretty impressive aren't we!

You guys define civilised. :D

I'll take the KPH

You got it Eric, thanks.

That ironwood hiking buddy is a real nice knife, heavy and dense for its size. We almost kept it for blade show.

Thanks Gordy! Yeah, finally decided to act right and commit to the most loving girl :). Totally agree on the size of the GSO 10, especially since I carry an axe with me on most outings, anything above 5 inches for a blade seemed too redundant. I hear you about Uncle Sam....I guess he freely giveth and taketh.....

Thanks and congratulations on your upcoming engagement!! I sold the GSO 10 I had a couple of months ago....I think they are really nice knives but too big for anything I do these days. I think you could use it for a frying pan in an emergency...LOL. I normally don't sell my knives either but Uncle Sam is killing me on taxes this year and a man has to do what a man has to do! Thanks and again congrats!! Gordy
