What a beauty for a first Fiddleback, great gift! I have a Packrat & an Esquire in Desert Ironwood & was sorely tempted by that Bushfinger, but already have a production one so was able to resist. Beautiful knife

That is awesome man!! if you want to hook him up with some leather for that Check out Fiddleback Outpost. There's a few leather sheath makers on there I highly recommend that will know exactly what to make for that. Ask for Robert or Brett.

It's got a nice classic look to me. I'm sure he would like the production version just as much as it will get used not looked at. He will be able to tell the quality and craftsmanship when he gets the knife in his hands. I just hope he doesn't put it away as a shelf or safe queen.

Thanks. I'm glad I had an assist. My work laptop lost connectivity at 2:59. I grabbed my phone and tried to still grab it but was way too slow. There were some great knives this week.
