^I'm still a little upset with myself I didn't get the recent one in W2 w/ tiffany blue... I looked at it for maybe 24 hours and then it vanished ;)

that was a really beautiful piece, and looked darn effective for the kitchen too

this weeks in 8670 looked like it would double as an effective cleaver

I gotta say I dont regret getting it! Sorry you missed but I couldnt miss that one, amazing kitchen knife! I was temped to get another one this week, but the pocket kephart was priority this time!

did anybody here get the recluse? please share some pictures once you get it, that handle was the highlight of Friday's sale in my opinion!

^ Don't have 8670 yet ... Got W2 w/pink for my wife few months ago it was still available Sunday evening lucky me :D
not sure if 8670 will form a patina...?

your wife clearly must have good taste in knives :)

8670 doesn't patina as nice as 26c3 IMO (disclaimer: I am a little obsessed with the spicy white)

it doesn't seem super crazy sensitive to patina, less like w2 and more like a2. my experience is pretty limited though. I have read it patinas slower than 5160, but personally have no idea.

my runt in 8670, which has only seen its leather sheath, perspiration and packaging gunk so far, is developing a nice gradual blue-grey-ish patina
