Fiddleback Friday From The Show

Congratulations Andy! That's wonderful news. A much deserved honor as others have said.

Congratulations. Very much deserved if I may say so.

The Bushfinger is gorgeous!

Congratulations Andy! Very well deserved!
...Second time in a row I've missed your Friday post....the time difference between US and Europe is so to say, at least, not fair...
Nessmuk is beautiful! If my english is so bad and I misunderstood you Tribial  and you do not want to take Nessmuk then I will take it ;-)

Congratulations Andy! I am happy for you and have no doubt you will become a full fledged member. :)

Sincerely,
Mark

Thank you for all your support folks. The next step is to do the show next year and show my knives then. If they accept my work at that time I will be given voting member status. I cannot tell you what an honor that would be for me.

Now, by next year's show, I'd like to have lots and lots of you signed up to come and have a ball with us here in Louisville. Its a great place for knifeloving men, and for their ladies who don't want to have to even see the show. I'm hoping we can make this a big Fiddleback Forge weekend. Its a lot of fun here with 4st closed off and packed with restaurants and bars. In addition, Louisville is a beautiful little city with lots for the whole family to do. I'm thinking we might start with the show, then move the group to the woods and make it our camping/outdoor meetup week the following week. Ky and Tn have beautiful woods.

Can I go ahead and claim the Nessy?
Edit. I'm selfish and just looked at the knives:) congratulations on your acceptance. You make some of the most beautiful and definitely most comfortable knives I've had the pleasure of using, and you deserve it.

You got it! Thanks!

Can I go ahead and put my name on the Bushfinger?

Yes you can. Its yours. Thank you!

4. Shank, Black on black with blue, Tapered tang, Convex on 5/32" thick 01 steel - $265 - I'll take it

Congratulations Andy!!!

Great! Thanks guys!

I'm off to the show folks, wish me luck!

Andy,

The Bushfinger from this week.... by any chance was it made alongside - 2013 0906 005 – Arete, Black Ash Burl on black g10 with a lime green g10 pinstripe? They sure appear similar! Maybe I have brothers!

Congratulations Andy! I think most of us here anticipated your acceptance man. Sweet batch! The Bushfinger looks amazing, and I really need to land one of the shanks one day, that one is gorgeous!

Andy, that is a wonderful idea. Let us remember to keep this thought alive to give as many people possible ample time to plan to attend in 2014!

Sincerely,
Mark

I would like to suggest Red River Gorge. It's a really great place. Climbing, hiking, zip lines, via ferrata, and Natural Bridge of corse! It's about 2 hours from Louisville but its definitely worth it!! Look it up online.

It did indeed come from the same block. I have one more from that block on the table. Give me a call and I'll sell it to you.

Andy, If for some reason you don't sell the other Bushfinger on your table I'll be happy to buy it from you. I have a Bushcrafter in Black Ash burl that it would go great with.
Also, the Shank I bought is going to my girlfriend. It will be her first custom and her first FB. She just had surgery this week and seeing your knife is one of the first things to make her smile.
She can't wait, only problem is now I'm going to have even more competition on Fridays. Thanks for everything and congrats again!

Best wishes for your girlfriend's speedy recovery, a fiddleback is a sure way to put a smile on her face!
