You just saved me a lot of money.. I bought this weeks recluse but keep coming back to look at that camp knife and was about to pull the trigger on it as well. Sweet looking knife. I'm curious though, what do you guys think are the primary uses for a knife in the camp knife's size range? Thanks.

For me, it's more to round out the collection. And to dress a moose should one venture my way. in all regards, for the next twenty years, I'll never likely bust out Andy's Camp knife to do what the Condor Hudson Bay is doing while hunting down fatwood. I just can't put the Bow Legged Chopper into the dirt the same way I can a knife at a quarter the cost. However, I suspect, as I get older, my views will change and the fit and finish on the Condor will be more negative and take away all the fun. For me, just holding the Runt, Bushboot or recluse and feeling the design, fit, finish and execution has made me smile on many a night.

You guys got em. THANKS!!!

Andy,
That white linen Kephart has been bringing me back all weekend. If its no trouble, I'd like to send another $40 and get that one instead of the maroon scandi.

2013 0419 008 – Kephart, White linen on natural canvas, Tapered tang, Convex on 1/8” thick steel - $290

You got it my friend. Kepharts switched out. Maroon linen one back on the market.

Nice.

Andy does that blue burlap look as good in hand as it does in the pics? Either way can we snag on of your pics to show it off?
thanks

D

Damn, if I could afford it right now I would be all over that blue Kephart! I really love to see the bolsters and Shadetree stuff making a comeback. Time to get saving again.
