Happy Fiddleback Friday! This week’s batch is a small one. 8 available knives in all. We also made 20 machetes this week, just so y’all don’t think I’m getting lazy on you. There is a new model in this weeks batch. The new and improved Nessmuk. At least, I think it is improved. It is going to replace both of the old Nessmuk models, and is a pairing of the two.
As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with both Heber Ellsworth and Rick Lowe. Both make fantastic sheaths that are completely different from one another. I appreciate your support for them as well.
All of the steel this week is 3D Spalted 01.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.
Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments at att dot net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.
Shipping is included within the US. We do all our shipping on Thursdays.
Now onto this week’s batch!:
F2 – This little knife is so much fun to make, and very versatile and light. I’m sure it would clean a mess of doves like nobody’s business. White linen micarta and a tapered tang too.
2013 0222 001 – F2, White linen over natural canvas with a lime green pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick steel - $260
Bushboot – A thin one ground from 1/8” stock. Tapered tang too. Nice slicer
2013 0222 02 – Bushboot, Maroon linen over natural canvas with a white pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick steel - SOLD
KE Bushie:
2013 0222 03 – KE Bushie, Natural on natural with an orange pinstripe, Tapered tang, Convex on 5/32” thick steel - $265
Recluse – It felt like it had been a while since I’d made a Recluse. No idea why. I love this model. This one has bolsters and ivory paper micarta. A real looker!
2013 0222 04 – Recluse, Ivory paper micarta scales with natural canvas bolsters and liners, Tapered Tang, Convex on 5/32” thick steel - SOLD
