I recently was honored by my friend Kismet, when he asked me to start making his Practical Hunter (KPH). This knife has been made by Himilayan Imports Khukuri Company for some time, and will now be made at Fiddleback Forge! Its a really interesting design, and just a lot of fun to make. My version is 8" OAL with a 3 7/8" long blade. The blades are spalted 5/32" thick 01 tool steel.

One knife has natural over black micarta with black pins and liner for $185 shipped without sheath. Add $25 for JRE sheath.

The second knife is wearing Bocote! Thick Grips! Blue g-10 accent liner between two black liners (micarta). The pins and bullseye tube are black also. $185 shipped without sheath. Add $25 for JRE sheath.

Andy, I love this design. I've been looking at your Bushfingers, but that might have just changed. If times were a little better here, I'd be all over that natural micarta.

Looks like it would get a lot of work during hunting season.

Thanks for looking, thanks for your interest, and thanks for the kind words.
