Fiddleback Nessmuk, Some Thoughts From The Kitchen

I'm with you Mist! Another 5" of snow over on our side last night. It's early March and were still in the teens for temps. I'm ready to take my plow off but I know it's weeks away.

Yep, another 8 inches here since yesterday. and 12F for the high today. It's nice and all, and different from the south to be sure... but I've had enough for one year :)

No pics, but we had steak tonight... could not find a steak knife for me, so I grabbed my kitchen Nessie, a 5/32" high grind that I've thinned the edge a little on... WOW, what a cool knife in the kitchen! Nessies are just fun to use! I think a 1/8" Camp Nessie would be great in the kitchen! (that's a bug in Papa Fiddleback's ear!) :)

The Nessie really is a fun knife to use, and yes considering the edge drops all the way down even with the guard on the Camp Nessie, it would be just awesome at a citting board. I really like the S shape of the standard Nessie though, so I wish I could talk Andy into making me one especially for the kitchen with a dropped edge, not a removed guard. Ideally, I would love a matching handled set of all 5/32 with high grind, Woodsman, Nessie, KE Bushie, and F2 for my kitchen, and emerald green shade tree would be perfect :)
