Fiddleback Runt Thread

Custom shop guardless runt coming out this week. One more too IIRC, but can't remember the scales...

I like the bottom right one [emoji6]. Nice collection.

I agree. The bolstered emerald one is gorgeous. I have been carrying my mid-tech one as a back up more and more lately and have been considering getting a custom one later. But I'll have to see if Rick or Mark can make a nice clipped ISP sheath for it. With a hand made handle I won't want to deep pocket carry it with all of the other crap in my pocket....

I’ve had several Runts over the years and sold or traded most of them.
Just got one recently and I have to say that I love this little knife. It has kicked all the folders out of my pocket and gets all the pocket time. Strange how the Runt always passed under my radar.
I’ve been solely carrying it for the past few days and it has performed admirably. So convenient to carry that I forget it’s there.
Anyone who hasn’t tried the Runt needs to give this little gem a try.

I'll plug the Runt, too. It's a great little knife, the only model I've tried four examples of because it is such a clever, useful, and great-to-look-at design. Definitely a gem, as Scotcha says.

I only let mine go because I finally accepted that I needed a handle a little longer to get a three-finger grip and discovered that the Runt design essentially comes in three sizes: the Runt, the Palmer (with about the handle length of an Esquire and made by Fiddleback and by Surls under license from Fiddleback), and the Big Palmer (made by Surls and with about the handle length of a Hiking Buddy.) All three have that Fiddleback "disappear-in-your-hand" feel. And the leaf shape blade makes for a strong blade that can really handle a lot of EDC tasks.
