I'm really happy to have had Joe Flowers ask me to start making the Terassaur! Its a really well thought out Bushcraft knife, and Joe is a real knife user. The specs on the knife are: 9" OAL, with a 4 1/4" blade.

The one for sale today is wearing blue and green g-10 and has ghost Jade g-10 pins and bullseye filler. The handle on this one is ~3/4" thick at the swell. $205 shipped with a JRE bushcrafting sheath with a firesteel loop.

You make some great looking knives and I've also read some stellar reviews of your blades.

What is the steel type and thickness on this one?

I've noticed that you consistently place your lanyard loops in a good distance from the tail end of the handle and am curious what your reason for doing that is?

The steel is 01 and its 1/8" thick. I place the lanyard tube a bit farther from the end out of habbit. Wood handles IMHO need some more space there so they don't chip out.

That makes a lot of sense, Andy. You always make such comfortable looking handles. Is 3/4" at the swell about average for your handle widths?

Yes. I'd say so. Its what feels good in my average (large glove) sized hands. I make em as fat or slim as a customer needs, but thats my average.
