Fiddleback terminology 101

LOL, I stand corrected. My wife hails from Butler, just N of N. Hills. We were living there from mid 90s through early 2,000s. When my grandson was born, there were five generations of my wife's family alive in Butler for a short period. My wife's grandmother died shortly after our grandson was born.

At that time, my mother and father lived on Pine Island FL. Judging from where you say that you currently live, I suspect that you might know where that is.

Hey Walt:

Butler, PA .......know it well. My mind is filled with images of deep snow !

Yes, I do know where Pine Island is. We live a little south of there in Naples, FL.

Yunz live in a nice part of Florida, I think my favorite part. In the late 80s, early 90s, I lived in Broward and worked in Miami. No thank you!

I created the name 'Trinity' pinout because it represents my faith in Jesus, his father, God, and the Holy Spirit.

Edited to add that it also comes in a non linear 'constellation' pattern.

Andy, I kina figured that 'trinity' resonates with Holy Trinity, but now it's a fact.
Thanks y'all for clarification.
Keep it coming :).

Perhaps the "predator" pattern should be called "Patrick's clover" then. Considering he used the clover to explain the trinity to the Irish and it does resemble the clover. :p

4.....More.....days.....till.....Steeler Football!!!!!

Thank God there is another football fan around. Nobody in the shop watches it. Knife people don't like football for some reason. When Troy Palomalu bought a Woodsman and sent me a signed jerzey I had it framed and not one person even mentioned it when the GA Guild met here. I took it home and it hangs over my desk now. I seem to be the only one impressed by it so I enjoy it by myself.

That I did not know. I love the idea. Patrick's Clover it is. Good call.

Hey Andy, a while back I think bonafide posted some pictures of your shop. I did make a comment on your Troy Palomalu jersey. What I did not know is that Troy has a Woodsman. Very cool. Go Steelers!

This knife guy is a huge Steeler Fan.....while living in Pittsburgh after graduating college my soon wife to be was a school teacher. One of her students was Mean Joe Greene daughter. On occasion Mean Joe would pick her up at school and spend time letting the kids crawl all over him. Go Steelers

Andy, this is madness! A knife shop in the heart of SEC country with no football fans? Not to mention the Falcons being close by. Looks like you need to add a new criteria to the screening process when hiring ;).

Seriously though, this made my day to hear that Troy is a Fiddleback user. I have a few Polamalu jerseys but none signed. If you ever need someone to talk football, just give me a shout.

Too funny! The even worse part is the Falcon's training camp is 1mile from the house and I have friends that work there. Football never sunk in for me.

Another football fan here! Pittsburgh being my second home as my wife is from there, her siblings still live there with all my nieces and nephews, we are there several times a year. The Steelers place second in my heart behind my beloved New York football Giants...

I used to love football; having been brought up in the west coast, I have fond memories of rooting for the niners towards the end of Montana's career with Rice, then Young and Rice.... but somewhere along the way, the next generation of players came, and perhaps the social media is revealing a lot of what has always been there, but I asked myself why am I even cheering for these people. But that's just me, I guess I just changed as a person and I'd really rather spend the little spare time I have actually doing things outdoors instead of watching people doing things.

Guys,

I started a separate "Who's your football team?" thread so that this thread doesn't get totally hijacked.

Go Broncos!

Phil

Kind of miss the 'model standard' classification.

Although all the FBs that I've had the chance to handle have seemed just right in my eyes.
