Fiddleback User Pics

Does anyone have a list handy of all models that have a blade length of 3.5" and under by chance?

There is a list of the models and their sizes on their website here:

Most of the models are there, but some are missing. I thought I read somewhere they are working on updating the website. Regardless what isn't listed there can be found with a little searching here on the subforum.

Bought a Bushnub off KSF earlier this year and I liked it enough to brave the Fiddleback Friday mayhem to score a Woodsman. I have been "fiddlin" with the FF Woodsman for about 5-6 months now, had Rick Lowe build a nice sheath for it, and I have taken it on some rambles in the desert. It's a big knife, but very comfortable in the hand and on the belt. I took the Woodsman on my elk and deer hunts this last month to evaluate its performance as a big game blade. It proved its mettle. Not an ideal skinning and boning blade, but it worked well enough that given its other strengths I would put it up against any other knife as a true all purpose blade. I prefer to use the gutless method of field dressing and boning my game which necessitates going into the abdominal cavity at the last rib with the gut sac, usually beginning to bloat, pressing pretty hard against the ribs. I was fearful that the sharp point of the Woodsman would puncture the guts, but by going a little slower than usual I was able to cut the full length tenderloins out with no accidents.
No field pics on the elk, a healthy pine nut fattened cow off a west Utah desert range but I did manage a few pics of my buck loaded up with 50 lbs of meat ready to come off the mtn. If it's a truism that the harder one works for their game the better it tastes then my deer venison with be far better than my elk venison this year. By the time I got the buck back to my truck 1500 ft. down and 1 1/2 miles away I was feeling every day of my 67 years. Drove my quad right up to the elk. 180 lbs of meat total not counting al the trimmings for the dogs.
Anyways, got the last of the meat home today and put it to rest in the freezer. The vacuum packed stuff is the backstraps and tenderloins off both animals that I process at home. 2016 elk and deer wrapped1.jpgpacked n ready to go.jpgfeeling his age.jpg

All cutting done with Pocket Kephart that showed up this morning

Yes, I do go out of my way to do things with sub-optimal knives for the task (in controlled environment), just for those occasions when I won't have a knife that would be optimal for the task...
