I am not the best photographer-just enjoy the comforting fact that this knife is beyond useful, sexy as hell, and more nimble than you'd think for the blade length.

It has a nice patina growing now since I use it as a kitchen knife often. It has cut up brats, turkey, chicken, hotdogs, steak, (no vegetarians here!), and the occasional vegetable (can you say potatoes?).

I have used it to make a fire while teaching my younger son about fires while camping. Great tool, one of my favorites (pssst, don't tell the other knives, ok?).

Andy, thanks for making me such a terrific knife!

Mine has been dominating in the Kitchen! I would love to get it out for some woods use, but my wife won't give it up...

Great pics Bro!!

Great pics Bro!!

Tony - I always believed that a knife that gets used in the kitchen is sure to get used outside...

Rocky - That's special:thumbup::thumbup:

Sweet pics!! What kinda property are you on?

That's one really nice looking knife!

I love Andy's use of Goncalo Alves for the scales. It's really an amazing wood. Strong, tough as hell, reasonably stable, non porous and often has some cool dark striping like it does on yours. I've got a smallish board that has tight and nearly perfect curl for most of the length. I've thought about using it for a knife project in the future, but I haven't yet worked up the nerve to cut it.

That sounds beautiful PB. I'm dreaming up a dining table made of goncalo. We'll see if it goes anywhere.

Yea, thats sweet. Just having them around is nice!

Very nice lines on that model. It looks a lot like a kitchen blade but has enough outdoorsyness to it to look right for that application too.
