fiebings leather dye question

I purchased the alcohol based dye from fiebings this time instead of the oil base dye. The dye is kept in my shop that is not heated unless I'm in there but it has not got cold enough to freeze inside the shop. My question is the dye keeps getting darker and darker. Its a medium brown and the last sheath I use it on it is hard to tell that it is not black. Can I just add Isopropyl alcohol to it, should I keep it in the house where it will stay warm? It does not say to shake it up but I did and do anyway. Also should I keep my finish and glue in the house, like I said it gets cold but not below 32 deg inside the shop. Nothing on the directions for guideance.

Yep just thin as needed and most chemicals are best kept at above 60° F.

Doubt if it's the cold - most likely the solvents are dissipating making it darker...

Thank you, also thank you for Your DVD on sheath making, it has helped me very much.
