I was just checking out my Feb. article and it has a great section on Survival:thumbup: Most of the info in there is common knowledge for us, but it is still a good read.
There are also a load of stories told by SAR team members about some rescues they were involved in. It gives you a good idea of what is going through the SAR teams mind while they are out looking for the lost or injured outdoorsman.
All useful info IMO. It helps to know what the brave men and woman are looking for when they are out looking for us. Most of the SAR guys in the articles emphasize on staying put rather than trying to make your way out.

Definately worth checking out.
