Up for sale is this Field Grade Bodega flipper with black G10 scales and a stonewashed fluted blade. I bought it unused/unworn from a respected BF member earlier this year and I subsequently shipped it to Begg Knives for a ceramic bearing upgrade and spa treatment. The latter (hard to come by lately) entails complete disassembly, cleaning, polishing of all hardware, sharpening of blade on their leather wheel and ensuring that all aspects of the action such as lock-up, detent and centering are perfect. I should add that the centering of this blade is perhaps 1% away from perfect but overall the knife is as good as new if not better. The ceramic ball in the clip is the clue to the bearing upgrade - the ceramic logo was not applied on the blade. Begg Knives returned the knife about two month ago but it's just been sitting in its zipper pouch since then. I'd like to collect knives that I will carry and use and this purchase was perhaps a step in the wrong direction - so it has to go. My price ($875) includes Paypal fees and shipping to the U.S. using DHL Express (5-7 days excluding weekends).
