Field grade bodegas!!

Just ordered mine, get your orders in:D
I ordered mine with the black sun burst pattern with the saber grind blade. Post what blade grind and handles patterns you are getting!
 
Where do you see a sun burst pattern? Their website just shows all the new grinds with the stars and stripes pattern still.

If you go into one of the models, you can select different handle colors and patterns. Idk if it works for all models, I just checked the first one.
 
I really like those Field Grade Bodegas, the price is not to bad and you get a lot of knife for what your paying for it seems. I was looking at the multi-ground one with the black and green G10 scales. The grind on it just looks really nice.
 
Ahhh, when I checked earlier today I didn't see anything for the new patterns. They look sweet.
 
what do you guys think of the original bodegas grinds (the flute with the holes) compared to these new grinds? I was pretty sad when I heard that they were gonna stop the original blade design for the field grades but when I saw these new grinds (especially the saber grind) I was pretty stoked!!!
 
When I get the cash I'm going to pick up the High Hollow or Dagger Grind in Blue G-10 in the Sunburst Pattern.

yea the sun burst pattern looks sik, so does the blue g10! I took forever deciding between the blue and black g10 I like em both but decided black is a little less risky for me somehow, I can never go wrong with black haha
 
I picked up a black saber grind with the scalloped pattern. Really wanted that multi-grind, but they were the first to go.

I think that the new grinds are still cool, but there is still a noticeable difference between the Field Grade Bodega and the full on midtech Bodega or the custom Bodega. You can still get the old grinds for the full midtech Bodega, Todd is just not working on those right now, because so many people are ordering the FG Bodega for its price. I agree with you that the new ones on the FG Bodega are fairly sweet. I am not much of a tanto guy, but it has grown on me in the last month as I have seen so many different styles of tanto blades with multi grinds.

I think the best compound grinds if we just talking in terms of looks are probably mick striders nightmare grinds have you seen those? They are just amazing looking!

Is the blade the only part of these that's done by hand?
 
Just ordered a high hollow grind with blue g-10 in Stars and Stripes texture. Now the wait!!!
 
What is the lead time on these?

Also, where do you get to see the colors?

I can see the textures except for Stars & Stripes.

Stars an stripes is the original pattern all the field grades had, you cant see all the patterns with all the color combinations, just the ones provided by clicking on the link they gave.
