Field grade bodegas!!

Went to order one and they're sold out already. They said they'll open more spots in a week or so.

How much do they get you for shipping on these?

ordered a blue compound grind FG bodega first week of september... checked the order status of my knife on begg's webpage and it still says 'processing'.... i dont mind waiting but i am wondering if anyone know what the typical wait time for one of the FG bodegas is.

The website says 6 weeks for field grades.
 
^^ interesting... i must have misread that part of the description. well i guess its another 3 weeks to go before i get my order. thats really not too bad considering the wait times for some other mid-techs. thanks evan!

I'm a huge fan of the red. I wish they made that color an option on the field grades.

I bet they'd do it if you asked. I know they bought red G-10 when I placed my order. Couldn't hurt to ask.
 
Those of you who got the compound grind, can you let me know your user experience with it? I'm tempted to get either the combo grind or the high hollow grind. I would like to try out a new grind, but I've always been iffy about compound grinds.
