Field knife

This is pretty much totally off-topic, so please do feel free to ignore, but... I've heard that Bohler 'Sleipner' steel is essentially a D2 formulation modified for toughness —*any experience/thoughts regarding Sleipner, since we're on the topic of D2?

Looking at the composition of both sleipner and D2 it looks like they are very different steels
