Field Report - Busse at Knob Creek

WOW I wish I could go. Maybe after college :(

Flamethrowers, how fun! MGs! Lotsa knives! I would be giddy as a school girl if I went there :D

Thanks for the awesome pics!

Welcome to the forum, and thanks a lot for the pics! I always wondered what it looked like at one of these shoots.

Thanks for posting the pics, it was a great show, although very cold and wet. ;)

Third picture from the bottom in the first post. What is that Game Warden on the bottom (looks lime green)?

That is a stabilized wood(Crap, I can't remember which one even though Drew kept reminding me ) the green comes from the die at it looks really cool in person. (not at all Lime green) It has beautiful mosaic pins and filework on the spine. Amazingly it was still there at 6:00pm when I left. I almost brought it home but decided to leave it for one of the big GW fans. It was one of the very first knives I checked out when I got there and it is incredible.

:D:D

Thanks for the info Eric. From what I can see it looks nice. Anyone have a better pic?

I'm starting another thread in just a couple of minutes with more Knob Creek pics, mostly knives. DonkeyPunch did a much better job of getting show pics, but I got a few of some of the knives ;)

:D:D

That is a SH-e Variant, very nice as well, I'll take some better pictures of that when the sun is out sometime next week ;)

:D:D

Oh man!!!!! That one is BEAUTIFUL  Not sure whether to congratulate you or curse you --- better go with the CONGRATS

Bring it to blade, please.

Glad everyone enjoyed the pics. Remember you don't have to wait until next year to go to the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. They have one in October. I think the Busse guys are planning on going to that one as well.

Great Pictures and I am glad that you enjoyed yourself:thumbup:

Are those people Behind the "Busse Knives" tables employees of Busse Combat? Is "Busse Combat" too strong a term for Kentuckians?

You simply can't use the term "combat" at a machine gun shoot. ;)

It just isn't done. :D :D :D

Thanks for the great pics. The rain makes me feel better about not being there. :)
