Jerry - The Maine HOGs have requested backup from nearby states. They are too shy to come forward and tell you this but have asked some of us to get some clues from you.

We went to Freeport, Maine for the weekend with some good friends. . .

Had a killer time but had to cut it short and get back in a hurry due to a very sad and unexpected military memorial service.

Next time we go to New England. . .it will be a HOGathon of monumental proportions!! :thumbup:
 
Freeport is a nice place. Did he run by The knife shop down there? Don't laugh, its the only shop that has that many brands, and they've heard of Busse and Swamprat. Just never seen one. I have 0 luck there everytime. Got a list of blades I wanted to handle, and everytime, no matter what, they're gone. Just sold it, never had it, ect.

Sorry to hear about the memorial service.. I'll be up at Freeport next weekend with my wife Lori and another couple. Lots of quaint fishing villages in the area if you get off the beaten track a little bit
BTW that knife shop Angelus was speaking of is where I got my first two Busse Basics, a 3 and a 7.

I've been wondering the same thing ! Today would be a great day for a ride to Maine.

Off to Maine tomorrow morning. Did the Maine hogs finally find that dog tag?? Will try to backtrack Jerry and Jen's route from Freeport. Wonder if they visited that great knife shop in Freeport???

Good luck. I thought Jerry mentioned he left it in Kittery?? Freeport is quite a ways up. Hek, I wouldn't even drive there if he told me exactly where it was.

Yup...Kittery it is. but his final destination in Maine was Freeport
