Field Stripping a Model 43

I have a very old Winchester Model 43 in .22 Hornet. Well I was playing around with it (unloaded) and the bolt came out. I thought, "Okay, normal." Now I am trying to put it back in and it just WON'T GO IN. Any help would be much appreciated, I'm desperate here.

It probably comes out and goes in when you depress the trigger. Make sure the magazine is out, and try depressing the trigger while sliding her back in.
