Fiends!!

Neil, you are probably right , I did like the size..as I have a tendancy to go larger or thicker than necessary.
Great design...wish you much luck with it!!!

Dr.Lathe,

Awesome knives you have there.

Great knives!

I gotta ask - what's the wheel?

Thanks again everyone!!

Pendentive,

The wheel is called a Grind-O-Flex. It seems to be made of a Scotchbrite like material and 220 sandpaper. I never tried it for knives. My buddy left it behind when we were building my BBQ Grill! It's worked great for cleaning up stainless welds ;) Due to weather, I was forced to take those pictures inside and grabbed it for a background

Neil, those are awesome! I love both versions. My big question is how you keep the holes so darned consistent and straight, or in this instance curved. That's so much harder to do than it looks because the slightest bit off and it shows. Just ask Mayo....:D

Along the same lines as the wheel in your pic, have you tried the flap sanders with the 1/4" shafts? They are fantastic for handles and you can do wood, plastic or metal with them. I use mine on an air powered die grinder. They leave a nice satin finish on steel.
