I sold this one awhile back, and it was returned because the handle was too small for the buyers hand. So, only take this one if your hands are small! :)

Specs:

Steel: A2, ground, not forged

Hardness: 59-60 Rc

Blade length: 7"

Total length: 11.5"

Blade thickness: .200"

Handle material: desert ironwood

Guard is aluminum bronze, spacers and pin are some other kind of bronze

Price: $475 + $10 shipping SOLD PENDING FUNDS

It comes with an excellent sheath by Sandy Morrisey. The sheath is $50 extra, so the total is $535.

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send correspondence and paypal to phillip@pattonblades.com Please don't send payment until I confirm that the knife is still available.

Wow. Remarkably Beautiful knife. Everything comes together with perfect visual balance. The handle looks 'just right' for this knife and is one of the most attractive i have ever seen. The sheath is absolutely as good it gets. Ultra 'clean' looking.
I think it's a deal for $500. And, i have smaller hands. But, i must resist. I don't need a Fighter and must not start collecting them. But i sure am tempted !

Oh my god! That is breathtaking. I just watched the first three Rambo's last weekend and I feel the need for a fighting knife now...but alass, I can't drop that kind of money.

I'm 6' with pretty large hands. I so want this to work!

I know posting won't bump this to the top, but in case anyone is wondering, this one is still available. :)

I keep checking this thread every day to see who's going to take this beauty home. Wish it could be me, but then I wish for a lot of things that ain't gonna happen.

I echo these sentiments. I like practically everything Phillip posts for sale and I especially like everything about this one. Phillip made me a knife a couple of years ago before he became so popular and it remains near the top of my favorites. I like this one even better than the one I own. I like the blade and believe the handle design too be about the nicest I have seen on a Patton knife. Desert ironwood also is one of my favorite handle materials. Very tempting, but I can't buy all the knives I want, even one that appeals to me as much as this one.

Phillip, If the handle were Black and a bigger you could take me off your waiting list! :)

Well, Ryan, at this rate I may end up putting a new handle on this one anyway. :( ;) Really hate to waste a $45 piece of ironwood though...

Phillip, Please, NO !
This knife is so beautiful exactly as it is and this D.I. handle is magnificent. It must not be destroyed.
The right buyer will be along.
If i collected Fighters this one would already be here with me now.
