Hello folks , when I ordered this micarta it was labeled as smooth bone paper . Well it looks to me to have a linen base or the way it came out around the pins may just be the character of the material . Any way I love the way it came out , I shaped the handle for a comfortable and a positive firm grip . It has then been lined with .039 thick copper sheet , copper pins and 1 small copper tube mosiac center pin . Hope you all like how this Persian fighter came out .

Steel , 3/16" ATS-34 , flat ground with a 400 grit cork belt satin finish . Heat treated to an Rc. 60-61 with the sup-zero soak .

O.A.L. is 10-3/4"

Blade tip to handle is 5-3/4" , sharpened edge is at 5-3/8 " 1-3/8" edge to spine wide .

Handle is Bone Micarta with copper liners and pins .

Sheath is 8 oz veg tanned right hand belt carry

Jack, As usual, very nice. Damn grandkid already snagged the last piece I received from you so I'm watching your posts to grab another. I'll swap you one for a well behaved con artist grandkid.

Happy New Year Jack.
