Excellent knife! Love the way it seems to balance.
Also how did you get in my head? I have one on the drawing board right now that is a heck of alot like that knife!
Love the file work on the bolster, and the spacer in the middle. The cap looks like damacus is it? Share with us, what are the materials of the knife, and its deminsions.
Not quite a Bowie but definately in the neighborhood of a fighter.

Whatever you call it callit beautiful. By definition all Bowie's are fighters. This one looks like a fighter. Great job.

Beutifull, love the damascus and handle treatment. I'd call it a fighter, but then most bowies are designed as fighters.

"Bowie" is a pretty arbitrary category to me, since the Bowie is a fighting knife style and some of the old "authentic" bowies look like Sheffield kitchen cutlery more than anything. Personally I would define that knife style as "frickin' awesome." Love it. That thin spacer in the middle is a nice touch, is it stainless?

The thin spacer you ask aboutis nickel silver.
Thanks to all for the comments, and now I know what to call it "FRICKIN FIGHTER"

Thanks again

Mike
