I like it Steve. I know you are a big boy. You got my 6' 4" beat by 3 or 4 inches anyway, so I'm going to be careful how I word my response 
I would have likely finished the whole thing with a satin finish, just because I don't like shinny, it's a personal thing. I agree with the guard thickness comments, but still like the looks of the knife very much
