I was told this knife looks like a rustic Randall #1 and after it was pointed out I have to agree it kind of does. The knife however didn’t start out that way, after forging the blade it just didn’t look right. I had recently finished one I didn’t think look right but made it into a complete knife anyways and ended up having to do some heavy discounting to sell it. I came real close throwing this one into the garbage and just forgetting about it but figuring I had nothing to lose I started reshaping with the grinder and the photo shows the outcome.
Specs:
3/10 inch thick 5160 high carbon steel differentially heat treated.
Overall Length is 13 inches
