Hey Busse fans,

It was Busse that got me back into this crazy knife thing a few years back.
And I still haven't brought one.

The itch is bad. I tried cream but it didn't work. I think a fighter is the way to scratch the itch.

I am of course aware of the AA currently on sale. The AA's have been my definitive fighter for a few years now.
My national laws do not allow.
It is one of the very few things that has ever made me want to move to another country.
My wife says that would be excessive?

The HG-55 is a regret of mine and may well end up being the winner. I was back at uni when they were on and was already eating beans and rice.

Can anyone suggest alternate options, I can't make it to Blade so it will have to be aftermarket.
Keeping it around $400 would be great but I'd stretch if necessary.

Advice appreciated, keeping in mind national laws!

it really depends on what you want to fight with this fighter...

... for fighting dogs the Culti has proven to be a good choice. See here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/956680-INFI-False-sense-of-Security

... for zombies the TG is known to work quite well: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/932498-ZOMBIE-KILL-OF-THE-AGES!!!-Jaxx-where-s-the-pics?highlight=walking+dead

... if you're more the superhero fighter type there's a specialized busse dagger waiting for you to be released: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/947198-Avengers-Movie-!-!-!-Busse-Combat-Hawkeye-s-Dagger-What?highlight=zombie

Urban Grudge

Possibly one of the Soul variants released from last year's Blade.

BBB the TGLB are on menu at the moment in the Busse Combat at $337. At less than half that you can get a Rodent 6 from Swamp Rat.
Otherwise you'll need to watch the secondary market where just about anything pops up every now and then.
The one who is not getting named around those parts has indeed a bunch of nekkind HG-55s from KC, but he's selling them with a 30% mark up already...
If you have any contacts or want to try around here you could possibly find a proxy for Blade...

Ahh....dammit Russ........ awesome knife

There were 2 fighters last year, that one and then another that was Soul-ish, I think.....maybe......I was hungover....

But yeah, that one ;)

TGLB is a good one for sure

It`s all in the way that you handle the knife.............how would you use the knife for fighting???

-Waking up in the middle of the night and have to face an intruder, with a knife, i would grab my Basic 11.
-Carrying a knife for selfdefense, i would go for something smaller, like my cultie or my muskrat, ice pig grip, the Filippino way.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as a perfect fighting knife, it depends on the situation.

I'm going to throw my voice to urban grudge, it's more combat oriented then a lot of other knives out there. However will it fit your hand or you style, or your means I cannot say.

This is currently my favorite fighter. The Nuclear Ratmandu. The Rodent Rucki ain't a bad back up either.

The other is that TB Persian variant that I love. :)

can't forget the hell razor, which everyone calls a fighter even though it's more of a light all around knife that could be used effectively as a fighter. the SARGE 7 seems like it would fit the bill too, but i haven't held one. other than that, ASH 1 LE/SE, SJTAC would be a great one, ZTSH, etc...
