There are a couple times during the course of the year that are really bad for me. I think we all have certain dates, or events, that make us sad, or angry. June 18th and January 14th are mine. It's personal, but suffice it to say that these are just really, really bad days for me. Sometimes, those bad days have been known to turn into bad weeks so I have to fight back hard.
I have found that the only way to fight back and start to feel better is to do something for somebody else. I do lots of things for others and don't generally talk about it (probably just like most of you.) Right now the usual things I do for others to fight back, are just not going to work because of timing or other stuff.
Sooo...............I thought it would be good to try a give-away. I haven't done a contest or giveaway for a while. So this is my "fighting back" giveaway.
In my safe at the gallery are an undetermined number of doctor's knives with a spear blade and spatula. They are hafted in sambar stag. They're production quality knives I made early on while trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up (LOL) They are nice knives, but I don't make or sell them any more. This has nothing to do with business. It's personal.
Pick and post a number between 114 and 618. June 19th at 12:01am will be the cutoff. I'll put the numbers in a hat, and Ginger the wonder-puppy will pick out the names.
Newbies are encouraged. Registered members please. One entry per person. The winners will be notified and then posted here. I will mark by your name if you have sent me your address and then mark the date and the tracking number when your knife goes out. Everyone can follow along.
I don't know how many I have and won't count them until the winners are chosen. It doesn't matter if you like me, my knives, the knife business, or anything else. Even if you have one of my knives, or have gotten something in one of my giveaways or contests, enter anyway. You could get another knife to pass along to someone else. This is strictly for fun. There could be ten knives, or a hundred.
