If we didn't have these days in our life there would be nothing to weigh the good times against, in part they are a necesary evil to thoroughly enjoy the good times.

Mine is Jan 18th a real crappy day for the start of an even crappier year but I wouldn't change it for the world because its made me a stronger person in the long run.

168 for me and good luck to you

Tim 511 for me :thumbup:Life is full of stumbling blocks that can be turned into stepping stones "BEST of LUCK" to you in your quest to convert the blocks to stones!!;)

Thanks, Shawn

418 for me please. One of the two saddest days in my life. Thanks Pappy.

I hope things get better for you. I'm glad you've found an outlet in helping others; like you I've often found that being generous helps a lot, and this is extremely generous of you. 330 for me, please.

I have one of your nice DR. knives already, so give the one I was GOING to win to another!:D
But I wish you happiness, and thank you for your kind gesture!!

I'll take #111.

I too have discovered that during bad spells, the best therapy is to involve yourself positively with other people and activities. It's easier said than done, since the instinct to wallow in it can be strong.

I'd like to pick #155 in honor of young ImGatMan -- a very young Forumite a little too busy with a new baby to notice this Thread.

He's the kind of fine young fellow who deserves a little sunshine like this.

Thanks, pappy.

Those are gorgeous knives! I'll throw my old boat number into the hat, 598.

Thank you for the opportunity, and may your future days be brighter.

We've all experienced bad. Since everyone is different, the degree of bad someone else experiences is often misunderstood. I've found good friends are a great source of assistance, mentally and emotionally, when those periods of our lives seems like we're looking down a bottomless well.

Stay strong!
