Fighting Bowie

I made this fighting Bowie a few months ago for somebody and it got traded back to me. Funny how knives will move around like that sometimes!

Anyways, this one has a fully forged blade of 5160, just under 1/4" at the spine. Blade length is 9.5" and the grip is 5". The blade has been edged quenched and triple tempered.



The Bowie is lightweight and fast. The swedge is sharpened for the backcut.

The blade is handrubbed to a 400 grit working finish.
