Hey guys, so I recently bought a BK 9 after the recommendations on my last post.
Right now,I looking for a fighting knife, a knife made for fighting with the enemy.
Any recommendations would be good

IMHO you better have to take a knife similar to the one you train with in terms of shape and balance...
material construction and overall toughness need to be second

Almost made it in before the Smachet.

Seriously, grab a beer, or a few beers, and then google it.
Hours and hours of threads to peruse through.

My enemy is clamshell packaging...it's weapon is the jiujitsu-like ability to turn my own weapon against me

Jarbenza v. Smatchet is a hard choice.

But if you are serious about a fighting knife, kick back for several hours doing research, and take a look at BF's resident custom knife makers for a knife specific to you. I'd recommend Matt, probably better known as CMFTW for a balanced hard use fighter. Don't have any of his knives, yet, but from what I've seen is badass and practical

To be serious and on point here, if you can find one, look for a John Wagaman mod.151. I've owned a ton of fixed blade bowie styles over the years and without question his mod.151 is the finest I've owned of all of them, that includes forged and stock removal blades. He is out of Ohio and had an excellent reputation among those from the folks at Pope AFB and Fort Bragg. I posted a pic of mine in another thread on fighters. keepem sharp

PS if nothing else look at the CS Recon Scout or Trail Master, I have those too and if they didn't come with rubber handles at least the ones I've owned have been exceptional also. The rubber tends to grab my clothes is all.

Previously looking for combat knife and now fighting knife.

OP, you already have a thread like this - didnt get the answer you searched for there?

Further more, its odd to start a thread, never answer the questions there in, which would go towards a clarification vis a vis your knife needs - let alone post in the thread again:

Very strange being this is the fourth thread on the same subject he's started and never responds to.
